Saludos, I’m Edgar and I’m the founder of Hostel Sabana.  I have spent most of my life working as an accountant for a variety of Costa Rican companies and international organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.

In April 2012 I decided to “retire” from the corporate world and start Hostel Sabana as a way to spend more time with my family and provide a needed service that San Ramón desperately lacks: affordable lodging for budget travelers.  With this in mind, I bought and renovated a building in San Ramón in order to meet this need.
